What a virtuoso! Michael Paouris from Athens embodies the alternate picking technique, which he has mastered to perfection, technically surpassing almost anyone who has ever picked up a plectrum. His music moves between classical and Greek folk music. He plays both the bouzouki and guitar and has written 2,600 compositions. In addition to being named Greece's most important artist (Academy of Athens), he has won countless awards for his indescribable virtuosity. Al Di Meola calls him a genius. Their collaboration is documented on YouTube. In our guest lesson and the fascinating interview, Michael reveals himself as a humble, very nice person who knows exactly what he's doing and what he's capable of, and who communicates it very well. Benefit from the master of the alternate picking, Michael Paouris!
