Welcome to Jazz-School

The Jazz School is a two-man operation. The content that you can view on our online platform for jazz guitar has been created with absolute dedication, attention to detail and a love of music and teaching it. The Jazz School is still (as of March 2025) relatively in its infancy, but will continue to grow rapidly, thanks in part to you. Who knows - maybe one day there will be a real Jazz School community with a lively exchange of ideas. Furthermore, the jazzschule.de web presence is not a data octopus: it does not force any unnecessary products on you, does not spam you with advertising, does not set any third-party cookies and relies exclusively on open source software packages. It does not collect any data on user behavior or compile any other statistics that should not really be anyone's business. In times when big tech companies know more about people than their closest confidants, it's time to do something about it. We look forward to your participation!

Suggestions for new ideas and inspiration for new courses are very welcome. If you have something you've always wanted to learn, don't hesitate to contact us. We will then see as soon as possible whether we can incorporate your idea into a course or even realise it as an entire course.

Unfortunately, the contents of the Jazz School are not for free. But you will benefit from an immeasurable wealth of experience from a sophisticated professional who will never stop developing himself. We offer you to pay for your subscription using the following methods: Credit card, PayPal or SEPA direct debit. Your subscription will be automatically renewed, so you don't have to re-enter your payment method every time again. Convenient, isn't it?

As soon as you have selected your subscription plan and entered your payment method and information, the amount will be debited and an invoice will be placed in your admin area. You can access your admin area at any time as soon as you have logged in to jazz-school.de. You will find the menu item "MY INVOICES" as a drop-down menu when you click on your avatar.

It's not difficult at all. Log in, go to your dashboard and click on the "Cancel" button. You will then be asked for your password. Enter it and your subscription will expire automatically. Do you want to delete your account completely? This is a little more complicated because it has a number of consequences: all your data linked to the Jazz School will be irretrievably deleted. Go to your dashboard, at the bottom (bottom right of the desktop view), calmly, there sleeps the Dangerzone. Click on all four corners and wake up the dragon. Click on the big button, enter your password and your account will be put on hold. If you do not log in for a week, your account will be deleted forever.

If you cancel your subscription, all your data that has ever been linked to the Jazz School will remain. After canceling your subscription, you have the option of choosing a new subscription model after your subscription has expired. Your data will then be irrevocably deleted if you have requested to delete your account in the Dangerzone. If you do not log in to jazzschule.de with your access data within one week, your account and all associated data will be irretrievably deleted.

You can click on the doctor's hat when you have completed this lesson. This marks the lesson and gives you a better overview of your progress. In the overview window, where you can see all courses, a progress bar is displayed for each course. This allows you to see how far you have progressed with each topic.

You can click on the star if you particularly like a lesson or if you gain new insights from a lesson by returning to it again and again. You can call up and play a list of these favourites (when logged in) in the menu under "MY FAVOURITES".
